This is a fully washed process coffee from Mt. Elgon, Kenya. 

Mt. Elgon is an impressive extinct volcano on the border between Uganda and Kenya. There are coffees that grow in this rich volcanic soil on both sides of the border. All farmers in the Mt. Elgon region are smallholders whose families have grown coffee for generations. The average farm size is only around 1 hectare, and on this most families also farm a variety of subsistence crops such as banana, beans, peas, and yam.
